| A: | There are many possible reasons why you may not be able to send e-mail. Here are just a few possible reasons:
· An attachment may be too large. Try to keep attachments at 20mb or smaller.
· "Mailer daemon message", means either the address was typed in incorrectly or the account does not exist on the recipient's domain.
· Mail server names are not correct.
· Account name or password is incorrect.
· You may not be logged on to the Internet.
· You may not have the setting checked "My outgoing server requires authentication". | |

| A: | There are many possible reasons why you may not be able to receive e-mail. Here are just a few of those reasons:
· If you keep getting the same messages over and over, you may have a large piece of mail blocking the download. You can check the message at https://webmail.knology.net. You can also call Technical Support at 1-888-745-2888 to have it removed.
· The mail server name may be typed incorrectly.
· The account name may be typed incorrectly.
· You may not be logged on to the Internet. | |

| A: | You can use your email in numerous email programs. Some examples are Outlook Express version 5.0 or higher, Microsoft Outlook version 98 or higher, or Netscape mail version 4.5 or higher. | |

| A: | Your username must be between 3 and 20 characters long. These characters must be lower case letters, numbers, underscores (_), and periods (.)

The first two characters must be a lower case letter or number. Your password must be between 4 and 20 characters long. These characters must be lower case letters or numbers. No special characters are allowed in your password. | |
